Why Residents Choose Us
Comfort Woven Into Each Day
Ming Yuet was built around the belief that later life deserves the same warmth and attention as any other season.
Cantonese Home Cooking
Meals follow the seasons and the rhythms of Cantonese home kitchens — familiar flavours that bring people together around the table each day.
Gardens Worth Returning To
The courtyard and green spaces are tended with care, offering a gentle destination each morning whether for a stroll, a stretch or a quiet hour with a book.
A Community, Not a Corridor
Neighbours share meals, stories and small rituals. The social life here is gentle and organic — never forced, always present for those who want it.
Attentive, Unhurried Staff
Our team takes the time to learn each resident's preferences, rhythms and small comforts — so that daily life feels personal rather than institutional.
Sai Kung Setting
Set in the quieter reaches of the New Territories, Ming Yuet sits where the pace is gentler, the air is cleaner and the harbour is never far away.
Flexible Arrangements
From a single dining membership to a full residence package, each offering can be combined or adjusted as needs and preferences evolve over time.

Questions & Answers
Things People Often Ask
A few answers to help you and your family feel at ease before reaching out.
Who is Ming Yuet suited for?
Ming Yuet is a non-medical lifestyle community for older adults who are living independently and looking for a warm, supportive environment with good company, Cantonese home cooking and comfortable surroundings. We are not a medical or nursing facility.
Can I join just for meals without taking a room?
Yes. The Shared Dining & Tea House arrangement is available on its own, starting at HK$1,080 per month. It covers three home-style meals and afternoon tea daily, with no requirement to take a room or garden access. It is a popular choice for those living nearby who simply want good meals and warm company.
What is included in the Full Comfort Residence Package?
The Full Comfort package at HK$3,880 per month combines a private furnished room with daily housekeeping, fresh linen, laundry service, errand assistance and a personal welcome host — along with all dining and garden access. It is our most complete offering, designed so that residents can settle in without logistical worries.
How do I arrange a visit before deciding?
We encourage everyone to come in person before making any decision. Simply call us on +852 2189 4730 or send a message through the contact form below. We will arrange a convenient time — usually a morning visit that includes a walk through the gardens and a cup of tea with our team.
Are family members welcome to visit residents?
Family visits are warmly welcomed and form an important part of life at Ming Yuet. There are no fixed visiting hours for residential guests. Families are also welcome to join for a meal in the dining hall — just let us know a day ahead so we can set a place.
Is there a minimum stay or long-term commitment required?
Arrangements are made on a monthly basis, with a notice period of one calendar month for residential packages. We do not ask for long-term commitments upfront. Our goal is for each resident to stay because they are genuinely comfortable here, not because they feel bound by a contract.
How is my personal information handled?
Any information you share with us — through our contact form or in conversation — is used only for the purpose of helping you with your enquiry. We do not pass your details to third parties or use them for marketing without your consent. You can read our full Privacy Policy for further details.
